"We're not doing this out of a sense of obligation; we're doing it out of a sense of opportunity." – Michael Brune

In December, 2015, world leaders from developed countries came together in Paris for the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) to discuss initiatives to address climate change. One of the ambitious goals included an aim to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, with the intention of keeping global warming below 2°C. The outcome of the conference stressed the need for continued work in the U.S. and around the world to reduce the effects of global warming.

Join us for a conversation with Michael Brune, Executive Director of the Sierra Club, about how clean energy is boosting our economy and transforming our country. He will share the good news that is often missing from the media landscape — how grassroots action is making a difference in our communities, and positive action for fixing our climate.
