Educational Programs
Through these Forums, students will explore the meaning of free speech in a democratic society, become better informed about national, international and local issues that affect their lives and learn how they can be advocates for change.

Youth Forum
Since 1997, The City Club Youth Forum has provided an opportunity for high school students throughout Northeast Ohio to become civically engaged by offering public affairs forums created by students, forstudents. A planning committee of 10 to 12 participants from schools throughout Cuyahoga County and its contiguous counties determine the topics to be presented, invite experts to speak about a particular field, handle all program logistics and run the Forum on the day of the event. Each year this series provides more than 1,200 high school students from public, private and parochial schools throughout Northeast Ohio the opportunity to attend five educational forums at The City Club of Cleveland.

Student Program
Each week during the academic year, high school students are invited to attend City Club Forums and Special Programs. These programs are free for the young scholars. Annually hundreds of students attend City Club events, engage in our vital civic dialogue and learn the values of free speech.
 
Speaker Series
Sponsoring a Forum or Special Program at The City Club is a great opportunity to show our community your company’s commitment to civic engagement and discourse. Many of the speakers and topics we feature may be of personal interest to you or relevant to your profession. Event sponsorship has many benefits, including:

Friday Forums - $2,500
The most renowned of The City Club’s programming series, our Friday Forums are highly regarded as insightful and inspiring discussions of national and international significance with experts from a wide range of fields.

Special Programs - $1,250
One of the strongest offerings of The City Club are our Special Programs that have been widely acclaimed as content-rich community discussions addressing key issues and opportunities that directly impact the economy and livability of Northeast Ohio.
