Radio Network
One of the most important roles The City Club plays is its role as an ambassador for Cleveland through its expansive national radio network. Over the years, The City Club's radio network has continued to grow and currently spans radio outlets from Maine to Alaska. Our flagship station is Cleveland's WCPN 90.3 FM, which broadcasts The City Club Friday Forum live at 12:30 p.m. for a half hour. The complete one-hour broadcast of the Forum, including the question and answer session, airs at 3 p.m. on Saturdays. WCLV 104.9 FM carries the full hour of The City Club Forum at 9:00 p.m. on Fridays. More than 400,000 people listen to City Club Forums each week.
Radio broadcasts are made possible by Case Western Reserve University.
Television
Through a partnership between The City Club, WVIZ/PBS ideastream and Time Warner Cable, City Club Forums are recorded and broadcast on WVIZ at 10:00 Sunday mornings. They are also broadcast over most Time Warner Cable systems on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 9 p.m. The City Club television program reaches tens of thousands of civic-minded citizens in our community each week.
Television broadcasts are made possible by National City, now a part of PNC and Cleveland State University. Closed-captioning is provided by the Nordson Corporation.
